Course modules:
This four-week Enterprise Network Installer programme provides the knowledge and practical skills needed to work across modern network infrastructure environments.
Training includes structured copper cabling installation, fibre optic installation, fibre testing, OTDR analysis and fault finding. Learners gain experience working with copper and fibre systems used in enterprise buildings, telecoms networks, commercial installations and data centre environments.
The programme covers installing, terminating and testing copper cabling systems, including Cat 5e, Cat 6, Cat 6A, Category 8.1 and Category 8.2 cabling. Learners also work with cabinets, patch panels, outlets, cable containment, labelling, certification testing and professional handover documentation.
Fibre optic training includes cable preparation, safe handling, connector cleaning, fusion splicing, fibre management, light source and power meter testing, OLTS testing and OTDR fault finding.
Learners also gain practical experience using professional test equipment from manufacturers such as EXFO, VIAVI, Softing and Fluke Networks.
