This Openreach PIA S7 underground cabling accreditation and sub-duct installation course will enable telecom underground cable teams to install up to 25mm sub-duct into the ducted network correctly, following Openreach criteria, which include:

✔️ Calculate the correct formula for installing multiple cables into bores and sub-duct

✔️ Identifying Openreach chambers

✔️ Correctly identifying existing assets owned by Openreach and other Communication Providers.

✔️ Correctly identifying chamber bores and confirming space for proposed cable routes.

✔️ Learn correctly what information is required for reporting, A1024 process into Openreach

✔️ Correctly reporting for blockages and evidence required for reporting blockages to Openreach

✔️ How to identify and use KIT 1A correctly inside chambers.

✔️ Correct method for proving the bores, test rod and rope, using 25mm duct rods and duct motor 2b

✔️ Correctly fit and label cables within the underground network in accordance to Openreach specification.
